Little soft body baby fairy in a tea cup just listed on Ebay!!
Well...this one of a kind mini soft body baby got into my china cabinet and decided that she wanted to be a fairy. So here she is...her name is Little Dewdrop. Yes, she is the first of these babies that I have named...it was her idea. Sometimes these things are out of my control so I have to go where they take me.
Little Dewdrop is made without the use of a mold. No two soft body babies are alike. She is just two and a half inches tall and made using Prosculpt clay. Her body is soft pink knit fabric with tiny beads that not only make her soft but give her weight She is so nice to hold in your hand. Her arms and legs are movable and her head flops a bit like a tiny baby. This little girls features have been hand painted with many layers of heat set oil paints that give her a lifelike appearance. Her hair is soft light auburn blond viscose fiber. She wears a pink organza rose and ice blue silk ribbons in her tiny bun. Little Dewdrop is dressed in a pink and glitter tutu. Her ruffled collar is an assortment of matching silk and organza ribbons. She wears a tiny white diaper that is also adorned with silk bows. She loves her glitter and gold wired wings with tiny dewdrops on their curly tips. Tiny Dewdrops sits in this lovely vintage porcelain tea cup. It is beautifuly decorated and I have lined it with cream colored satin fabric, a vintage crocheted napkin completes this setting. I really love creating these tiny creatures.

And a little sailor boy......... now on Ebay
This is a One of a Kind miniature polymer clay Soft Body Baby by Morena Ciambra.
He is made without the use of a mold. No two babies are alike. This little one is just 2 ½ inches tall. He is made with Prosculpt clay. His body is made using pink knit fabric with tiny plastic beads that not only make him soft but give him weight. He’s so nice to hold in your hand. This little boy's arms and legs are movable and his head is floppy like a real baby, so he needs some support. His features have been painted with heat set oils paints in many layers to give him a lifelike appearance. Little one's hair is fine blond viscose fiber. He wears a tiny white jacket with blue silk ribbon bow. I have crocheted a matching hat for him using light blue thread. His tiny diaper is also adorned with silk ribbons. I LOVE creating them!!!! This soft body baby will arrive with a signed certificate in a gift box. I will not name them, I’ll leave that to his new family.

Still working on my blog....
Well, it looks as if I've been able to transfer most of my information from another site that is closing down. It's been a slow process. Some of these posts are from last year or the year before and they are out of sequence. I'm still learning how to communicate here.
Thank you for the kind comments that were left. I have been wandering and am finding you. Such magnificent creations. I feel as if I've found a perfect little corner in which to work and share. So happy to be HOME!
Enjoy your day!

Alice and White Rabbit Wonderland Tea Cup
- I've been teaching myself new things. Here is a miniature dollhouse that I made.
One of a kind miniature baby doll Amazing Grace by Morena Ciambra
Ebay seller name - dreamartdolls

I will donate the money raised from the sale of this little one to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief fund.
As I watched the CNN coverage of the Haiti disaster I could see the pain and despair in the eyes of the people as well as the those of the reporters and rescue workers. In the background of all of he noise and commotion I could hear voices singing praises to the Lord. A comforting sound. Then there was an announcement that a child was born in the midst of the chaos. The singing of the people and the cries of the newborn became one….“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me…”
So, this was the result of that moment…Baby Grace, how Amazing!
Here she is, Little Grace, a 12th scale miniature. She is just over 1 ½ inches long. Baby Grace is made using a combination of polymer clays to achieve just the right skin tone. Her baby skin has a dry irregular sun drenched appearance. She has been painted with heat set oil paints. Her eyes, nose and lips have been glazed. She is wearing a white cotton diaper and a brightly colored tropical turquoise blouse with silk ribbon shoulder straps. Her hair is a combination of brown wool and viscose fiber. I have crocheted a multicolored thread basket bassinet for her to sleep in. Draped over the edge is a bright fuchsia blanket.
Well, the images of the disaster in Haiti have kept me from my work again. Trying to concentrate in front of the T.V. with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Anderson Cooper from CNN detailing the massive destruction and the faces of the tiniest victims has swept me in a different direction. Sometimes I have no control over this and whatever needs to emerge from the clay just does.
Here she is...Little Haiti. She is just over one inch in a seated position and made with an assortment of polymer clays to achieve the perfect skin color. She has been painted with heat set oil paints and her chocolate colored eyes, nose and lips have been glazed. Her baby skin has a dry irregular sun drenched appearance just as it appeared on the little ones. Her hair is a combination of brown wool and viscose fiber. Tiny red glass bead are attached to the top of her two little braids. Baby Haiti is wearing a white cotton diaper and a tropical fuchsia colored blouse with yellow floss trim. I have crocheted a multicolored thread basket for her to sit in. Draped over the edge is a turquoise ocean colored blanket.
I will be listing this little one on Ebay this week. I will donate the money raised from the sale to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief fund.
One more baby has emerged from this. She will be listed in a few of days. She will also be donated to the Red Cross. I hope that this is it...I need to get back to work soon. Thank you for your support. Enjoy!
