Still working on my blog....
Well, it looks as if I've been able to transfer most of my information from another site that is closing down. It's been a slow process. Some of these posts are from last year or the year before and they are out of sequence. I'm still learning how to communicate here.
Thank you for the kind comments that were left. I have been wandering and am finding you. Such magnificent creations. I feel as if I've found a perfect little corner in which to work and share. So happy to be HOME!
Enjoy your day!

I will donate the money raised from the sale of this little one to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief fund.
As I watched the CNN coverage of the Haiti disaster I could see the pain and despair in the eyes of the people as well as the those of the reporters and rescue workers. In the background of all of he noise and commotion I could hear voices singing praises to the Lord. A comforting sound. Then there was an announcement that a child was born in the midst of the chaos. The singing of the people and the cries of the newborn became one….“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me…”
So, this was the result of that moment…Baby Grace, how Amazing!
Here she is, Little Grace, a 12th scale miniature. She is just over 1 ½ inches long. Baby Grace is made using a combination of polymer clays to achieve just the right skin tone. Her baby skin has a dry irregular sun drenched appearance. She has been painted with heat set oil paints. Her eyes, nose and lips have been glazed. She is wearing a white cotton diaper and a brightly colored tropical turquoise blouse with silk ribbon shoulder straps. Her hair is a combination of brown wool and viscose fiber. I have crocheted a multicolored thread basket bassinet for her to sleep in. Draped over the edge is a bright fuchsia blanket.
Well, the images of the disaster in Haiti have kept me from my work again. Trying to concentrate in front of the T.V. with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Anderson Cooper from CNN detailing the massive destruction and the faces of the tiniest victims has swept me in a different direction. Sometimes I have no control over this and whatever needs to emerge from the clay just does.
Here she is...Little Haiti. She is just over one inch in a seated position and made with an assortment of polymer clays to achieve the perfect skin color. She has been painted with heat set oil paints and her chocolate colored eyes, nose and lips have been glazed. Her baby skin has a dry irregular sun drenched appearance just as it appeared on the little ones. Her hair is a combination of brown wool and viscose fiber. Tiny red glass bead are attached to the top of her two little braids. Baby Haiti is wearing a white cotton diaper and a tropical fuchsia colored blouse with yellow floss trim. I have crocheted a multicolored thread basket for her to sit in. Draped over the edge is a turquoise ocean colored blanket.
I will be listing this little one on Ebay this week. I will donate the money raised from the sale to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief fund.
One more baby has emerged from this. She will be listed in a few of days. She will also be donated to the Red Cross. I hope that this is it...I need to get back to work soon. Thank you for your support. Enjoy!

Clara - Miniature Holiday Doll
Here she is little Clara, she is just 3 ½ inches tall. She is a one of a kind miniature little girl made without the use of a mold. She has been sculpted using Prosculpt clay. Her features have been painted with many layers of heat set oil paints. Clara’s hair is fine dark brown viscose fiber. She is dressed in her holiday outfit. Her underclothes are white cotton with lace trim. Her festive dress is a green and red plaid with gold threads. I have decorated Clara’s dress with white laces and tiny thread rosebuds and leaves. Her matching hat was hand crocheted and decorated to match. She is sprinkled with tiny glitter for that bit of sparkle. She is wearing her special ruby slippers. She carries her special holiday ornament.
Dolce Bambini - Abby and Pinkie
These miniature one of a kind babies are just 1 ¾ inches long. They would be the size of a 1/12th scale newborn. No two Dolce Bambini are alike because they are individually sculpted using Prosculpt clay and created without the use of a mold. This little one is Abby. She is dressed in a vintage ecru lace bonnet and diaper. They are adorned with silk ribbons and thread rosebuds. Her features have been painted with layers of heat set oil paints. Her pink nose and lips have been lightly glazed. Tiny Abby comes with a little friend. She is a cute bunny named Pinkie. Her details have been hand painted. Pinkie has a plush tail and carries a pink glitter heart. She is decorated with a violate silk ribbon. Abbie is nice and warm in her soft pink bunting. I have added a tiny lace blanket too. These little ones would make a wonderful addition to any dollhouse setting. I have shown her here in a 1/12 scale crib (not included) so that you can visualize her size. Abby, Pinkie and her bunting and lace blanket will arrive with a signed certificate and a gift box.
Tante Cose Belle

This beautiful fae is dress in vintage laces, fabrics and trims. Very fine glitter gives her that sparkle. In this beautiful wood sewing box are an assortment of wonderful items that were especially chosen for the special women that will receive it. I hope to produce more of these beautiful boxed fairies in the coming months. Enjoy!
