So, it appears that we've strayed
from making babies. This little
women decided that she wanted to make an appearance.
She is a bit larger than my usual
miniatures. Kate measures just under 7 inches to the top of her lovely hat. She
was created using Prosculpt clay with a wire armature and she is can be gently
posed. Her features have been
painted with Genesis heat set paints and fired many times to give her a life
like appearance. Her hair is soft auburn viscose fiber. Kate is also wearing Austrian crystal
earrings that sparkle in the sunlight. Her pretty gown is a green cotton print
decorated with vintage trims, laces and silk ribbons. I have made her a tiny
pink brooch and pearl necklace. Her shawl is a beautiful satin thread mauve
lace trim. Kate is wearing a matching hat adorned with my hand painted paper
flowers. Several tiny feathers and assorted ribbons are the finishing touches.
She is also carrying a bunch of my handmade hydrangea tied up in a beautiful
silk ribbon bow.
Kate will arrive with a signed
certificate, a stand and a gift box.
Enjoy!

Morena
